Our Group, who entered the transportation sector by Basco Shipping and Trade S.A., which established in September 1992, has become one of the leading reliable companies of its sector in Turkey with its ship, port and transit agency services, by strictly keeping its principles of customer satisfaction and commitments to clients. With our young, dynamic, yet experienced staffs, we, who has always been innovative, started to render services in the fields of ship management, cargo brokerage, and ship repairs within a short time. Being the first Container Line Operators in Turkey, we established in April 1995 the service that is known as Contaz Line and that performs regular container transportation between North Europe-UK and Mediterranean ports. The name “Contaz” is formed from the abbreviation of “Container Transportation A to Z”. Basco, our Flagship, have undertaken the management of this service and transferred its agency activities to Contaz Maritime Transport and Trade S.A., another member of our Group. Keeping offering this service to its customers with its two 1158 TEU container carrying capacity vessels, our Group continues its preparation to reach higher-scale projects by renewing and improving its selfowned fleet of containers. The third vessel which will be the same capacity also nearly completed the purchasing process. The vessels are managed by the new company of the group, Contaz Ship Management Ltd..
